FAQs

What is the GoGas cylinder?

GoGas is a new, lightweight, and safe LPG cylinder from Coral Gas, designed with the highest European standards and equipped with the “one click” valve.

GoGas cylinder safety includes:

  • FLV System: Reduces the flow to a very low and safe level in case of an extensive leak.
  • PRV System: Automatically activates in case of increased pressure, releasing pressure in a controlled manner to protect the cylinder.
  • GFRM: LPG cylinder made according to the highest European standards, from reinforced steel with a fiberglass mesh.

Each GoGas cylinder has been inspected according to the highest European standards and is certified by an external certification body for its suitability.

GoGas is 50% lighter, with a modern design and triple safety (FLV, PRV, GFRM) and “one click” connection valve.

With the appropriate accessories (regulator or adapter), it connects and supplies all household LPG appliances, both indoors and outdoors.

Additionally, it comes with specialized cooking and heating devices made with the highest standards and materials, awarded in international design competitions.

Full, it contains 5kg of LPG (80% butane and 20% propane) while the duration depends on the type and size of the LPG device it powers. Indicatively, a GoGas cylinder lasts over 17 hours with the Smart Grill device. Available only in this size.

The special valve connects easily by pressing until you hear a “click,” without needing muscle strength or tools. To open the supply, rotate the switch on the connection accessory (regulator or adapter) to the open position. To disconnect, ensure the gas supply is in the closed position and press the same switch inward.

No. LPG does not expire, but it should be stored upright in a well-ventilated area.

Follow safety instructions, do not tamper with the casing or valve, and do not drop the cylinder from any height. The GoGas LPG cylinder should always be used upright and should not be moved when lit.

After ensuring that the switch is off, you can transport the GoGas cylinder upright, without any appliance attached.

LPG cylinders, when not connected to the consumption device, should be stored in an external, well-ventilated space. Cylinders should always be placed upright and kept away from sources of fire or heat (>70°C). Sunlight does not affect them, so there is no need to cover them.

The GoGas LPG cylinder should not be exposed to temperatures higher than 70°C. The GoGas cylinder is not affected by sunlight and is only affected if it comes within close range (less than 50 cm) of a fire. In any case, the GoGas is equipped with the PRV system, which does not allow the pressure inside the cylinder to exceed the safe limit. The plastic casing of the GoGas cylinder cannot withstand temperatures higher than 80°C, at which point it will begin to lose its shape and eventually melt, rendering the cylinder unusable.

The FLV system of the GoGas cylinder detects very high LPG flow in the event of a leak and drastically reduces it. If you abruptly open the gas appliance valve, there is a chance of a momentary high flow of LPG to the appliance, without a leak. If this happens, you will not be able to light the LPG-consuming appliance. To address such an incident, close the appliance’s valves and the switch on the connection accessory (regulator or adapter) attached to the GoGas cylinder valve. Wait 2-3 minutes and slowly open the switch on the connection accessory. Then, slowly open the appliance’s switch.

The GoGas cylinder is available at selected Shell, Avin, and Cyclon station network points. These stations operate year-round and can assist you at any time. On Coral Gas’s website or at 800 11 90 60, you can find the nearest store that stocks the GoGas cylinder.

It’s not necessary. The number of stations operating 24/7 is large and covers all of Greece, ensuring quick service. You can have the cylinder delivered directly to your home with the “Home Delivery” service (800 11 90 600) available in major cities during business hours.

The new GoGas LPG cylinder is filled with a mixture of LPG (butane and propane), which is permitted for indoor use. The GoGas cylinder provides a high level of safety. However, you should ensure that the space is well-ventilated to remove exhaust gases and replenish the oxygen that is burned.
